HNI 002 Portable Rechargeable Unit

The present method of disposal is to place the syringe into a plastic container directly after the needle has come out of the patient. This method offers no protection to the cleaning staff from needle stick injuries or the chance of theft and re-use.


The HNI 001 and HNI 002 can incinerate all gauges of needles. The HNI 002 Portable Unit is specially designed for use where 220V or 110V AC power is not available such as ambulances and emergency vehicles. It also has the benefits that the nursing staff can move the unit around the ward on a medicine trolley
.

HNI 004 (Dental/Diabetic) Portable/Rechargeable
SAFE INCINERATION ONLY REQUIRES ONE HAND

The unit is for use only with Dental needles, Insulin needles and Insulin pens. The Dental unit HNI 004 is a small rechargeable unit which has a "Park" position to reduce the incidence of needle stick injuries during forced re-capping of the needle. The "Park" position secures the cap in the corner of the machine enabling the nurse or dentist to re-cap the needle as many times as necessary during a single patient multiple injection situation. Once all the procedures have been completed the needle is then incinerated and fully recapped. Once the incinerated needle hub has been removed simply incinerate the other end of the needle.

  • The HNI 004 can incinerate approximately 80 needles before recharging is necessary.
