Practice ClearPractice clear involves the Reconciliation and collection of all monies due by the Medical Aid to the practice. Before submitting your claims to the medical aid a full reconciliation will be made of outstanding accounts to ensure that the claims outstanding have not been paid or rejected before. A full report on outstanding claims will then be forwarded to the practice for final approval. On approval the claims will be taken to the relevant Medical Aids where, should the claim be less than 4 months old, immediate payment be requested from the Medical Aid. Should the claim be older than 4 months and monies are payable to the practice, and providing that all other criteria have been met, we will negotiate for payment on behalf of the practice. The cost for Practice clear is 10 % of all monies collected from medical aid (With a minimum of R5000.00 Payable in advance as a retainer. Should the amount payable to EMS exceed R5000.00 the retainer will be deducted from the amount due).
