Start with 8 or 16 zones and expand to 64 or 128 by choosing the best combination of technologies to suit the job at hand:

COMBUS expansion… add zone input modules right up to 64 or 128 zones, as well as a host of other output modules, relay modules, etc… all on a 4-conductor non-shielded station wire bus.

ADDRESSABLE LOOP expansion… built right onto the main panel, addressable loops make zone expansion simple using DSC addressable devices. Add 56 or 112 addressable devices for panel expansion to full capacity of 64 or 128 zones.

WIRELESS expansion… makes filling the gap where hardwiring is difficult, disruptive, or cost prohibitive as easy as connecting a MAXSYS 64 zone wireless receiver to the COMBUS and choosing from an array of DSC wireless components including PIRs, door contact modules, smoke detectors, emergency pendants, and for flexibility of control – 4 button key fobs and handheld keypads.

Take the mystery out of security system operation with up to 16 easy to read 32 character LCD keypads, each with five programmable function keys to make regular operations a snap. Connected to the COMBUS, keypads can be assigned for global or partition usage.

Need to add 8 zones here, 16 zones there? Go right ahead with MAXSYS remote zone expanders. Simply connect them to the COMBUS for flexible, efficient, distributed zone expansion.

For those hard to wire locations, add up to 64 wireless zones; and for personal protection and operating convenience add up to 64 emergency pendants, 16 key fobs, and 4 handheld keypads using DSC's proven 900MHz true spread spectrum wireless technology.

With the 2 supervised communicator outputs critical to all commercial fire alarm systems, the PC4701 included with the main control panel also provides smoke detector and water flow zones, as well as fire alarm-actuated and fire trouble-actuated output relays.

Packaged in an enclosure with transformer and battery charger to meet UL864 requirements, the PC4204CF is the fire version of the PC4204 for security systems. Each PC4204(CF) provides added power for the COMBUS plus 4 high current relays. With up to 16 PC4204(CF) modules, the system can include a total of 64 fully programmable relays.

PC4702BP Dual Bell Output Panel…

Complete with integral transformer and battery charger, the PC4702BP connects to the COMBUS wherever required to provide audible & visual fire alarm notification zones.

With up to 4 panels per system, 8 zones total, and each zone providing 1.8 Amps at 24 VDC, MAXSYS solves the power issues for fire alarm strobes and horns.

Addressable Smoke detectors...

Use addressable loops to add up to 56 DSC UL/ ULC listed addressable smoke detectors on PC4010CF systems and 112 on PC4020CF systems to meet the needs of large applications efficiently and economically.

Universal Remote Zone expansion...

Use any mix of listed security and fire alarm detectors on the same zone expanders as the MAXSYS security system. Commercial Fire zones can be standard fire, water flow, auto-verify fire, and fire supervisory.
